Celebrating 36 years!
Chris Rackmyre, CTIS
President Contact Chris Chris joined The Maine Tour Connection after many years commuting from upstate New York to Maine to spend time with her knight in shining armor, Jordan, and his two girls, Lauren and Hannah. Her favorite thing to do is to explore Goose Rocks Beach in the winter, it's also the best time for finding treasures. She believes you can never have enough sand dollars in your collection. When it comes to dedication, Chris is a fabulous example. In her 18 years at the Queensbury Hotel, she went from waitstaff to director of sales. Pretty unusual in the fast-turnover hotel business. Chris has completed the American Bus Association's CTIS program, and served as Chairperson for Resource Central, CTIS Committee and of the Education Committee. |
Lacy Antonson Reservation Coordinator Contact Lacy Lacy was a native of Illinois, before relocating in 2015 to her dream house on Little Sebago Lake. Lacy is no stranger to Maine, having vacationed north of Portland several times over the past 25 years to visit close family and friends. Her current favorite pastimes in Maine are dining out, sightseeing, soaking in the scenery and sunsets, gardening, and kayaking. Lacy's professional background is in non-profit administration, policy, and organization, along with many years of community service while raising three kids back in Illinois. She joined TMTC in Spring 2016 and enjoys getting to know the "Inns" and outs of the receptive tour/hospitality industry. |
Heather Levesque
Director of Sales Ambassador of Fun Contact Heather Heather found her passion in the travel industry early on, spending hours researching and planning a three-month trip across the U.S. with her best friend. What began as a fun, affordable trip (tenting was part of itinerary), became a tour of some of the country’s most beautiful sites—places she had only seen in books. All of it captured with outstretched arms and a click, long before self-portraits were called selfies. Heather grew up in northern Maine and moved to the "big city" in 1999. She started her career in hospitality working as a banquet server at a Portland hotel, and she was hooked. Those early days turned into 12 years in hotels, and landed her a position as director of sales at the Clarion Hotel Portland. Heather spends her free time traveling throughout Maine and New England with the same dedication to experiencing the beauty, food, culture, and people, as she did on that first cross-country trip. And now that’s she’s got an office in the Trap, she’s ready to get crackin’ on group itineraries. |
