Recognizes The Lobster Lady®
L to R Erin Sullivan, Chris Rackmyre The Lobster Lady®, Amanda Koelker, Christa McCusker
The Women in Buses Award recognizes a leader who has directly influenced the advancement of women in the motorcoach industry through mentorship, education, networking, and the creation of meaningful opportunities. This year’s recipient exemplifies every element of that criteria.
This leader's impact is felt not through self-promotion, but through steady, behind-the-scenes dedication to lifting others. As President of The Maine Tour Connection, she has spent her career creating pathways for women to grow, lead, and succeed across the motorcoach, tourism, and hospitality industries.
A committed advocate for professional education, she is a graduate of the American Bus Association’s CTIS program and went on to serve as Chair of the CTIS Committee, mentoring countless professionals through the certification process. Her leadership extends across ABA Marketplace, where she has served as Chair of Resource Central, Chair of the ABA Education Committee, and an active member of the Women in Buses Council.
She is also a founding member and current Secretary of the Maine Motorcoach Network, working in partnership with the Maine Office of Tourism to promote group and motorcoach travel while supporting other women leaders to thrive in executive roles.
From rising through the ranks in hospitality to leading The Maine Tour Connection with purpose and integrity, her career reflects a deep commitment to service, collaboration, and legacy. Her influence has helped shape stronger networks, more confident leaders, and a more inclusive future for our industry.
